About Us

Sue Foster founded Sue Foster Fabrics in 1978 with a small shop in Portsmouth. The business prospered and in 1986 Sue moved the showroom to new premises in  Emsworth, a charming fishing village on the Hampshire coast.

Having successfully run Sue Foster Fabrics for 27 years Sue decided it was time for a well-earned break, so in January 2006 Chris and Vicky Gorton took the helm.  With the support of an experienced and creative team, Chris and Vicky have built on the excellent reputation Sue established for providing quality products and services at competative prices, and they will continue to ensure customer satisfaction remains at the heart of the business.
